On my way home from work today (I walk the 1 1/2 miles) a woman with out of town plates on her car, stopped me and asked for directions. I pointed her in the right direction (she was totally turned around) and wished her good luck.
Before she drove off, she told me “I chose to stop and ask you for directions because you are walking barefoot! Barefoot people are some of the nicest folks you can meet, you are so laid back and easy. Thank you again. Would you like a ride?” I just smiled, shook my head, and kept on walking.
It’s a nice unsolicited positive response like this that can make your day!!
